Kentwood Public Schools students had the opportunity to tour the ongoing construction at Townline Elementary with Owen-Ames-Kimball Project Superintendent Levi Overway.
During the tour, students learned about pathways into the construction industry, the education and training required, the importance of skilled trades, and what it's like to work on a construction site. They also heard from two trades workers who shared their experiences, explaining how they apply what they learned in school and in their training programs to succeed in their careers.
