East Kentwood High School recently completed construction of its new Esports gaming room. What was once a classroom and storage space has become a place for students to game, learn about programming and the gaming industry, but also provide space for teamwork and learning.
East Kentwood's Esports program consists of 140 signed up students, 80 placed on 14 different teams, playing 12 different games. This inclusive space is truly a gem for Kentwood Public Schools.
