We are just over a month into construction of the Kentwood Public Schools Data Center, located at the Freshman Center of East Kentwood High School. This center will house the technology of the entire district.
Currently plumbing and electric are being installed, new block walls are being placed, and the walls will be going up in April.
This space will have a brand new loading dock, as well as a secretary entrance. There will be a repair center included for repair of the students educational technology devices.

These photos show a good overview of the construction of a large portion of the space currently. This is going to be where the IT repair center is, as well as a hangout space for students.
This will become a large new window to naturally light the student hangout area.
